About This Treatment

This treatment involves injections that relax & soften dynamic facial wrinkles . Highest quality product is used which are prescription only medicines, can only be administered following a face to face consultation with a qualified Health Professional & prescriber.

With each course of treatment effects last around 3 months. Results can prove more effective & last longer in some patients after a series of sessions.

Botulinum Aftercare

• Do not use any cosmetic products on your face/area injected in the first 24 hours. Rubbing the injected areas must be avoided in case the botulinum migrates and paralyses other muscle groups. This is particularly important around the eyes.

• Avoid lying down within the first 4 hours of injection, again to avoid migration of the botulinum.

• Maximum effect can take up to 2 weeks to be seen and it is encouraged to actively use the muscles of the face in the first 24 hours, to allow even spread of the botulinum (eg. raising eyebrows, frowing, etc).

• Tenderness in the injected areas is not uncommon, along with redness or slight bruising. Large swelling, continuous bleeding or signs of overt infection must be reported to your practitioner immediately.

• Avoid excess alcohol, strenuous exercise and extensive sun exposure for 24 hours following injection.

• If there is discomfort following treatment you may take Paracetamol. Avoid the use of aspirin, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory drugs as these may increase the risk of bruising.

• Appointment time 30 minutes

Botulinum toxin can also be used for Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) underarms
